Harry Lomas IV M.D.

Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Harry Lomas IV attended medical school at The University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL where he graduated with Honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA, then completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond, VA.

Dr. Lomas has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts and has presented his research at both national and international meetings. His research experience is broad, with special focus on the use of Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT/SABR) in the treatment of metastatic cancer. He has also conducted research in Breast, Prostate, and Lung Cancer, among others. Dr. Lomas has served in the US Army for over two decades and has multiple combat deployments with Special Operations Forces. He continues to serve in the Army Reserves as a Flight Surgeon. Dr. Lomas and his partners founded Valor Oncology with a mission to provide rapid access to state-of-the-art cancer treatment for patients in the North State. In his spare time, Dr. Lomas and his 3 children enjoy travelling, music, theater, and relaxing with their Australian Shepherd Ruby.

Harry Moyses M.D.

Radiation Oncologist
Dr. Harry Moyses is an experienced Radiation Oncologist with over twenty years of practice in the field. He is a licensed medical practitioner in the state of California.  He has worked in academia and private practice.

Dr. Moyses is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology, and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hospice and Palliative Care. He has served on various committees, such as the Cancer Committee, Investigational Review Board, Cancer Research Committee, as well as serving as serving as Unit Board Chairman for the American Cancer Society.   He has conducted research and authored several publications.  He is a fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology.  Dr. Moyses is fluent in Spanish

Erik Stickney M.D.

RADIATION Oncologist

Dr. Erik Stickney received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he graduated cum laude from the college of Honors. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He went on to an Internal Medicine internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu Hawaii. Dr. Stickney received his Radiation Oncology residency training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).  He served as Chief Resident at the end of his second year of training, one of the few residents to serve as chief resident so early in their training.

After his residency training, Dr. Stickney returned to Hawaii to serve his health Professions Scholarship military commitment as a staff physician at Tripler Army Medical Center. Dr. Stickney was appointed Chief of the Radiation Oncology department at Tripler in 2008.  Dr. Stickney was deployed to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne 2010-2011.  He received a Bronze Star for his service in Afghanistan.  After honorably serving 13 years in the United States Army Dr. Stickney left the military and he, his wife, and his 4 children moved to Chico, CA in 2012. Dr. Stickney is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Stickney enjoys spending time with his wife and family enjoying all that the North State has to offer. Dr. Stickney strives to provide patients with the same level of personalized compassionate quality care that he would provide to his family. “Fighting cancer can be a frightening and confusing time. We strive to answer questions, present options, and provide customized care to patients living in the North State. Valor oncology brings the most up to date technology to the North State providing Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS, SBRT), Image guided radiation therapy(IGRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy(IMRT), and expedited cancer workup, navigation, staging, and treatment.”
